How do I change my default AI model?

If you have an AI model you prefer, you can make it your default in PercenX.

Go to:

Settings → AI Model

Select the AI model you want PercenX to use by default.

Your selected model will then be used as your default when you start new math problems. You can still choose another available model from the Solve screen whenever you want to use something different for a particular problem.

Changing the model for an individual problem does not require you to change your default each time.

For example, you might keep ChatGPT as your default but select Gemini or Claude for a particular problem when you want to try a different approach.
